Disney World Tickets Information and Options
Visiting Disney World is exciting and fun but may present a challenge if you’re not certain about the available Disney World tickets and packages.
Disney World tickets can be expensive but you need to get them to enjoy access to this fun world. Disney World comprises among others theme parks and water parks.
There is a standard Disney World ticket available which includes a set of options to choose when planning your vacation. This ticket, Magic Your Way, gives each member of your family or group entry to one theme park per day, for each paid up day.
Magic Your Way (MYW) Ticket
This was formerly known as the Disney Base Ticket. It is the standard base ticket and when you buy this ticket, you purchase a set number of days, between 1 to 10 days.
It also allows you to choose the number of days you want to visit the Disney parks, and the more the days, the less you pay per day. It includes fun-filled additional options that you can pay for to enjoy more access to other exciting venues at Disney World. You should also check Disney World park hours to ensure a full-day of fun while minimizing ride or attraction restrictions.
Remember, the MYW Ticket expires fourteen (14) days after the first day of use. Here is some advice on the additional options:
Hopper Ticket option
As the name suggests, this ticket allows you to visit more than one of the four theme parks in one day. It’s not a ticket passé, but it is an additional payment made to the standard ticket. It therefore allows you to move freely around Disney World and gives you a lot more flexibility when choosing what to do when you visit Disney World. It allows you access to the Magic Kingdom theme park, Epcot theme park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.
Waterpark Fun and More Option
This paid addition allows you access to other Disney World attractions, besides the two main Waterparks (Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and the Blizzard Beach Water Park). The ‘More’ part allows you access to nightclubs and a number of other venues which include the DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive theme park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. The beauty of this option is that you do not have to use it on the same day as you visit the big four theme parks.
No Expiration Option
If you tick this option, note that it does not expire and allow you to transfer unutilized days to the next vacation. It is probably the easiest selection when buying Disney World tickets and the non-expire option includes the MYW ticket. It is a good option if you think you may have days left over on your vacation.
You may also consider passes (Premium Annual and Annual) to enjoy more admissions to resort attractions.
Important Reminder
Although most Disney World tickets are available online, it is advisable to buy your Disney World tickets at the gate if you are visiting for one day. When you decide to go online, ensure the sites you visit are reliable.
